What is Christian Education?
Depending on one’s perspective, a “Christian education” may be defined or viewed very differently. At Statesville Christian, it is more than just having routine chapel, providing a safe environment, or even having Christian teachers. A Christian education means seeing all of life- truth, meaning, morality, art, academics, athletics, relationships, history, language, justice, ethics, culture, communication, creation, politics- as being subject to sovereignty of God and truth of His word. Such an education requires “biblical integration” in academic instruction and transparency and honesty in the members of our educational community. Although we are far from being a perfect school community, we continue to seek and set high expectations together.
