Statesville Christian School is pleased to offer bus transportation to families who live in the Lake Norman area. Drivers are trained, certified, and licensed by the state of North Carolina.
The designated drop off/ pick up point is the Kagan Furniture (beside Kohl's) parking lot at exit 36 in Mooresville, NC.
7:10 a.m. - Students may begin loading bus
7:25 a.m. - Bus leaves for SCS, no exceptions
7:50 a.m. - Bus arrives at SCS
3:10 p.m. - Bus leaves SCS
3:30 p.m. - Bus arrives at Kagan’s Furniture
Statesville Christian sets transportation fees based on estimated costs of fuel, maintenance of the buses, and number of students who ride. Monthly bills will be sent on the 25th of each month.
2009-2010 fees are as follows:
One child - one way: $60.00
One child - round trip: $90.00
Multiple children – one way: $96.00
Multiple children - round trip: $150.00
Single ride ticket: $6.00
- Students should be in dress code before boarding the bus
- Students should be orderly and keep hands and objects inside the windows
- Students should sit facing the front of the bus, not stand or move while the bus is moving
- Students should take all trash with them when exiting the bus
- Students should close windows before exiting the bus
- No eating or drinking on the bus
- No handheld electronic games or toys on the bus
- Bus leaves Kagan’s Furniture at 3:40, no exceptions—If you have not picked up your child they will be returned to SCS
- Remember: The driver is responsible for the safety and conduct of all riders. If a rider is unable to abide by the rules, they will be delivered to the Principal’s office. If the problem continues, bus privileges will be lost
