Game Summaries
- 9/15/2008 - Statesville Christian School’s Middle School Volleyball team was narrowly defeated by First Assembly of Concord on Monday afternoon at Statesville Christian by the score of 25-22, 10-25, 16-14. Mary Claire Kyles led Statesville Christian's comeback in the second game with 10 points on serve. In the third game with Statesville Christian behind 14-5, Sarah Schopps reeled off 9 straight points to pull the Lions even at 14-14. First Assembly captured the next two points to win the match. The Lions of Statesville Christian are now 2-3 overall and 2-3 in Central Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association (CCISAA) play, while First Assembly of Concord stands at 3-1 overall and 3-0 in CCISAA play.
- 9/16/2008 - Statesville Christian School’s Middle School Volleyball team defeated Queen’s Grant in the first match of a double-header on Tuesday afternoon at Victory Christian in Charlotte by the score of 25-9, 25-21. Deborah DeGraff and Rachel Lambert led the Lions with 6 points each on service in the match. The Lions of Statesville Christian go to 3-3 overall and 3-3 in Central Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association (CCISAA) play, while Queen’s Grant moves to 0-1 overall and 0-1 in CCISAA play.

Deborah DeGraff led the Lions with 11 points on service in the match with Aspen Eldridge adding 8 points on service. The Lions of Statesville Christian go to 4-3 overall and 4-3 in Central Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association (CCISAA) play, while Victory Christian moves to 0-1 overall and 0-1 in CCISAA play.
- Statesville Christian School’s Middle School Volleyball team defeated Hickory Christian on Monday afternoon at Statesville Christian by the score of 19-25, 25-18, 15-7. Deborah DeGraff led Statesville Christian with 8 points on serve in the match while Mary Claire Kyles added 7 points on serve. Statesville Christian now stands at 6-4 overall and 6-4 in Central Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association (CCISAA) play, while Hickory Christian stands at 5-3 overall and 4-3 in CCISAA play.
